Mt Mulligan Lodge

Access to Mt Mulligan Lodge is via a scenic 35-minute helicopter or light aircraft transfer, or by road on a 2.5 to 3-hour 4WD journey. All transfers are seamlessly arranged by our team at the time of booking.

SCHEDULED HELICOPTER FLIGHT FROM CAIRNS

One daily scheduled helicopter transfer is operated by Nautilus Aviation and can accommodate up to six guests per transfer.

Cairns to Mt Mulligan Lodge leaves Cairns at 10:25am (check-in 9:40am in Cairns).

Mt Mulligan Lodge to Cairns leaves Mt Mulligan Lodge at 11:10am.

Price per person each way: $500

There will be no charge for infants under three years of age when seated on the lap of an adult passenger. Children aged 3+ years will be charged at the ‘per person’ rate as they require their own seat for safety reasons.

PRIVATE HELICOPTER CHARTER FROM CAIRNS

If the daily scheduled flight is fully booked on your preferred dates of travel, or if the scheduled timings do not coincide with your itinerary, a private helicopter charter may be arranged at an additional cost (subject to availability):

$2,800 (up to 6 passengers – weight & luggage restrictions apply)

*Private helicopter charters from Orpheus Island Lodge, Pelorus Private Island, Cairns Marlin Marina (for access to a Morris Nautical superyacht charter) Silky Oaks Lodge, Port Douglas, Lizard Island Resort or other nearby destinations can be arranged upon request.

Mt Mulligan Lodge is also accessible via fixed wing Caravan or King Air aircraft. Private charter flights will be arranged upon request.

Mt Mulligan Lodge can also be reached by road—a 2.5 to 3-hour 4WD journey covering 160 km from Cairns. Guests may choose to self-drive, or our team can arrange a private 4WD transfer.
