The spacious Outback Suite is contemporary and luxurious, featuring a pitched cathedral ceiling and deep veranda. With its dark grey natural stone tiles and bronze fittings, the twin vanity ensuite bathroom is both luxurious and calming. On your private veranda, a custom designed deep corrugated iron bath is orientated to capture uninterrupted views of the Australian outback.

Outback Family Pavilion

The Outback Family Pavilion is a combination of two Outback Rooms and an Outback Retreat to create a luxurious pavilion designed for families and groups of up to six looking to create unforgettable memories in the Australian outback.

The Pavilion’s design features three bedrooms connected by internal corridors with each offering either king or twin bed configurations. Each bedroom boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom with dark grey stone tiles and sleek bronze fittings, exuding an air of calm and sophistication. The central bedroom includes a cozy wood-burning fireplace, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Each bedroom enjoys direct access to a private veranda, with two featuring a custom-designed deep outdoor bath crafted from corrugated iron, providing guests a unique opportunity to unwind while taking in uninterrupted views of the vast outback landscape.

Nestled amongst the property’s Australian eucalyptus woodlands, the Outback Tents fit seamlessly into the surrounding environment. Featuring spacious outdoor decks with glass sliding doors to keep the airconditioned accommodation comfortable throughout the day. The Outback Tents are a 5-minute drive by electric buggy or a 10-minute walk from the main lodge.

Dining Under the Stars

Our signature experience ‘Dining Under the Stars’ is a must do for any guests and offers a truly memorable way to celebrate a special occasion in the outback.

An intimate seven-course degustation dinner is served on the edge of the weir under a blanket of stars with Ngarrabullgan (Mount Mulligan) as your spectacular backdrop.

The menu is inspired by your outback surroundings and comes paired with Sommelier selected wines or blended non-alcoholic beverages from our reserve list.

$240 per person, bookings are essential.

Main Pavillion

Dining at Mt Mulligan Lodge is a celebration of the outback and our region, guided by seasonality and provenance. Menus showcase quintessentially Australian ingredients such as Bushy Creek beef, locally caught barramundi, and native flavors including lemon myrtle and native bush mint. Thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, each dish reflects the landscape that surrounds us, offering guests a genuine connection to this remarkable part of the world.

It all starts in our own backyard with the best locally sourced produce and sustainability front and center. Each day our chefs curate a menu that blends modern Australian and international cuisine showcasing the best locally sourced, seasonal produce.

BREAKFAST

Wake up to breakfast served at your leisure from 8am in the Main Pavilion. Fuel up for the day’s adventures with a quintessential à la carte menu paired with coffee, tea, and fresh juices, showcasing fresh seasonal produce from our outback garden to your plate.

LUNCH

Taste the world with our changing tapas menu inspired by the flavors from around the world. Eat your way from Paris to Tokyo with an ever-changing menu, tailored to suit your individual food preferences and served at 1pm daily. If you’d rather do some exploring, you can request a picnic hamper to take with you as you explore the rugged terrain of Ngarrabullgan (Mount Mulligan).

The Atherton Tablelands comes to life on the plate by night. Enjoy a refined dinner in stunning outback surrounds every evening from 7pm with fresh produce showcasing the best of our region.
