Superior King

Striking the perfect balance between modern and traditional, the Superior King room (324 sq ft) reflects an intuitive attention to detail with the addition of a chaise lounge sitting area. The rooms are elegantly appointed with handcrafted, custom furniture, original local artwork, and a seasonal in-room bar curated by the hotel's Executive Chef. The spacious marble bathroom features an oversized shower, private water closet and signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrooms and slippers.

Grand King

At 336 sq ft, the Grand King room is the most spacious of our King rooms and includes a sitting area with custom sofa for relaxing after a day in town. Complete with floor to ceiling windows, the views of Historic Charleston are unparallelled. The signature furnishings include custom furniture and original local artwork. The bathroom in the Grand King offers a marble double vanity, walk-in shower, private water closet and signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Grand King ADA

The Grand King ADA room (350 sq ft) is graciously appointed to be entirely ADA Accessible. Featuring 1 King-sized bed with luxurious Irish bed linens, Roll-in oversized glass shower, handcrafted custom furniture, original local artwork, seasonal in-room bar curated by the hotel's Executive Chef, signature armoire with shoe shine and laundry service, Complimentary WiFi, 24-hour room service and signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Signature Queen Queen

The Signature Queens (290 sq ft), with two Queen-sized beds, feature breathtaking views of Wragg Square, the Charleston Harbor and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. Rooms are elegantly appointed with handcrafted, custom furniture, original local artwork and a seasonal in-room bar curated by the hotel's Executive Chef. The marble bathroom features an oversized glass shower, private water closet and signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Grand Queen Queen

One Bedroom Suite

The One Bedroom Suite (425 sq ft) is one of the most luxurious room offerings at the hotel. The bedroom can be closed off from a private living room by a pair of panel doors, providing two completely separate sanctuaries. The bedroom furnishings include a king-sized bed and original local artwork in addition to a seasonal in-room bar curated by the hotel's Executive Chef. The living area includes a cozy seating arrangement of sofa and leather chair as well as a traditional writing desk. The spacious marble bathroom features a double vanity in addition to the walk-in shower, private water closet and signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Charleston Flat

Ideally situated on the corners of every floor, the Charleston Flats (511 sq ft) are our most luxurious rooms and offer the epitome of the Dewberry experience. Drawing inspiration from traditional Charleston design, rooms have hardwood flooring throughout, select Vermont marble and floor to ceiling windows spanning two sides of the room to offer unmatched panoramic views. These lofty urban sanctuaries feature a king-sized canopy bed, breakfast nook and sofa in addition to a seasonal in-room bar curated by the hotel's Executive Chef. The expansive bathroom features a double vanity and glassed bath suite inclusive of a walk-in shower and deep soaking tub at the edge of a walled window. As with all rooms, guests will enjoy signature Dewberry amenities including Irish terry towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Ballroom

BALLROOM

The ballroom at The Dewberry is a modern expression of a classic, grand salon. Troweled plaster ceilings and walls create a curtain of warmth, while two continuous walls of windows look out to the walled garden beyond. The wooden floor is an oversized version of a parquet pattern found in Versailles. The central focal point, a cast brass and crystal palmetto chandelier, is evocative of old Charleston, yet sits comfortably within the new Ballroom pavilion. The ballroom consists of 1,800 square feet, accommodating events for up to 160 guests.

WALLED GARDEN

Looking beyond the classic Charleston Ballroom, is the walled garden containing 2,250 square feet of stunning space. The Charleston live oak, ivy covered historic brick walls, and bluestone walkways make the garden the ideal space for any gathering. This unique space accommodates 150 guests alone and 300 in combination with the adjacent ballroom.

Bar

The crown jewel in a city known for its steepled skyline and sea-skimming views, The Dewberry's 8th floor terrace features the highest rooftop in Charleston. Home to our whimsical rooftop cocktail bar, Citrus Club, features citrus-inspired cocktails, and fresh lite bites.

Fitness Center

Our fitness studio features top-of-the-line equipment including treadmills, elliptical cross trainers and Peloton bikes+. Located on the second floor, the studio is open daily from 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Offsite personal training sessions are available upon request. We're delighted to offer our guests complimentary bicycles, available on a first-come first-serve basis. Complete with racks and baskets, our premier 21-gear Specialized bicycles are perfect for cruising around the peninsula and provide a unique way to experience Charleston. Our Concierge team offers guided routes to take in the beautiful scenery and are happy to plot your course.

Every detail--right down to the wooden bowls hand-crafted by local artist Hugh Jeffers from the knots of a 150-year-old white oak tree that once stood nearby--echoes The Dewberry's rich history.

Owner, John Dewberry's Charleston carriage house was the design inspiration behind The Dewberry Spa. Quiet luxury defines the space while cypress covered walls provide enveloping warmth. Immerse yourself in a deeply restorative experience through our signature treatments choreographed and curated by renowned spa expert Lydia Mondavi. Your comfort and wellbeing are top priority at The Dewberry Spa. Drawing inspiration from elements of the Lowcountry, including the Southern native dewberry plant, we handcraft each signature treatment to include a luxurious blend of antioxidants, sea extracts and botanicals that nourish your mind, body and spirit.

Citrus Club

The crown jewel in a city known for its steepled skyline and sea-skimming views, The Dewberry’s 8th floor terrace features the highest rooftop in Charleston and is home to our whimsical rooftop lounge, Citrus Club. Featuring citrus-inspired cocktails, mostly of the frozen variety and fresh, lite bites; access to Citrus Club is exclusively for our hotel guests and by reservation only.

Floor-to-ceiling glass walls give way to unparalleled panoramic views of the expansive outdoor terrace, which is punctuated by a citrus colored wall, hand-painted by Emily Harris Art; beyond is a picturesque backdrop of Marion Square, the Arthur Ravenel Jr., Bridge and the Atlantic Ocean. Custom planters and pots over­flowing with verdant plantscapes combined with stands of olive and citrus trees further enhance the exclusive atmosphere of this lush escape and provide welcome respite from the sunshine. Throughout the space, the inspired décor is elevated, echoing the hotel’s midcentury design with a bit of whimsy and a wink: bespoke circular citrus-colored lines and curves of the custom banquettes, mid-century lounge furniture is accented in the same citrus piping. And because John Dewberry believes all good design needs a bit of whimsy, he hand-drew a slice of a navel orange and had a studio out of Brooklyn, NY—LiteBrite—turn it into a neon sign which is prominently positioned to be seen upon entering.

The Living Room

With its timeless style and old world sophistication, The Living Room at The Dewberry is designed with function and form in mind. Have a morning meeting, send an email, sit down for a bite to eat or a mid-day custom Dewberry Tea, or in the afternoon enjoy a classic cocktail at the bar, The Living Room is meant to be inviting and serve the needs of any part of your day. In the evenings the all brass bar serves a cocktail menu focused on dark spirits and is comprised almost entirely of stirred drinks; as much a look back as it is a step forward. The Living Room is the perfect place to meet friends before dinner or gather for a drink after a show.
